VOLUNTEER ON TEAM
Magnitude is a family. And, like any family, it takes lots of people getting stuck in for it to all come together.
That’s where we need your help. We couldn’t do what we do without an exceptional team of volunteers giving up valuable time to help the event run as smoothly as possible. So, if you are full of energy, skills and passion, willing to get stuck in and want to have all the fun whilst doing it, you’ll fit right in!
Whether you have a passion for prayer or a heart for making people feel at home, there are tons of opportunities for you to volunteer with us. Check out the information below and sign up to be part of the hands-on, dedicated, can-do team that keeps Magnitude ticking.
Please note, volunteers must be available from 9.30am on Saturday 24 July until lunchtime on Thursday 28 July at Lendrick Muir. Attendance for the duration of the event is mandatory for all volunteers. Some teams such as the Stewarding, Site, Village Hosts, Gate and Security, Info and Production teams will be required to be on site from Friday 17th July, and will be required to attend team training at 8pm that evening. We also require you to attend a team prayer day on Saturday 22nd May in Perth.
We love that so many young people want to step into a volunteering role at Magnitude but due to the high volume of applicants we have to turn down some volunteers for the summer. After attending Magnitude as a camper we ask that you take a year off and return the following year as a volunteer. This allows us to have a good balance of younger and more mature team.
Magnitude team leaders will be provided with an event pass, accommodation and three meals a day. We would love to provide accommodation for all of our amazing volunteers, however we might ask some of you to camp in our wonderful camping village.

prayer & SPACE TEAM
We all have questions and sometimes just need someone to listen as we try and find some answers. SPACE is a safe space for young people to talk about anything! We need a team of people, ready to listen and pray with young people. We love making space for God to meet with us during ministry times and, as we encourage our atendees to pray for one another, we need a wonderful prayer team to be on hand in the main meetings to make sure everyone is alright and to answer any questions.
CAFÉ or CATERING TEAM
Cafés are a huge part of Magnitude as they provide a social space to chill and hang out with friends. As you volunteer in our venues you will be responsible to ensure that your café is looking great, fully stocked with cake and drinks and that you are serving people in a timely and friendly manner. Alternatively, could you lend a hand to the Lendrick Muir catering team who help to feed the 200 volunteers on site.
COMMS & INFO TEAM
The Comms & Info Team help to keep Magnitude running smoothly behind the scenes. The Comms Team manages radio communications across the site, coordinates responses to incidents, and helps ensure information is shared quickly and effectively when needed. Calm under pressure and great at problem-solving, they're often the first people volunteers turn to for practical support. The Info Team is the friendly face of Magnitude, welcoming attendees, answering questions, and helping people find the information they need throughout the week.
STEWARDING & NIGHT STEWARDING TEAMS
Our stewards are the amazing people on the ground who interact with delegates, youth leaders, and visitors! If you can think on your feet and have great customer service skills, then we would love you to help us be the face of Magnitude! We also need night stewards who look after us and the site overnight. Our Night Stewards provide an essential presence after dark, helping to keep the site safe and secure while people are asleep. They help ensure the festival can rest easy, ready for the next day of activities.
VILLAGE HOST TEAM
The village hosts are a key part of our site management team, providing a caring, practical support system for delegates and their youth leaders. The village host will oversee the campsite and will be responsible for dealing with any minor issues that may arise throughout the week. Your main roles will include patrolling the site, sending people back to their villages, keeping the main meeting venue and other venues secure and, with the Night Stewards, dealing with any issues that arise.
SITE TEAM
The Site Team helps keep Magnitude running safely and smoothly before, during, and after the festival. From setting up and taking down infrastructure to maintaining key facilities across the site, this team gets involved in a wide variety of practical tasks. That might include moving equipment, carrying out basic maintenance, supporting plumbing systems, looking after toilets and water points, and helping solve the countless challenges that arise on a busy festival site. If you don't mind rolling up your sleeves and helping wherever needed, the Site Team is an essential part of making Magnitude happen.
SPORTS TEAM
The Sports Team helps create fun, inclusive, and engaging sporting activities for everyone at Magnitude. From setting up events and managing tournaments to encouraging participation and keeping games running smoothly, you'll help create memorable moments and healthy competition throughout the festival. Whether you're passionate about sport or simply love helping people have fun, this team is a fantastic way to serve and bring energy to the Magnitude community.
FIRST AID TEAM
Are you a first aider, doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, or other healthcare professional? We'd love you to join our First Aid Team! By giving a few days of your time, you'll play a vital role in caring for the amazing (and occasionally accident-prone!) young people who come to Magnitude. From minor bumps and scrapes to providing reassurance when it's needed most, you'll help make sure everyone can enjoy the festival safely and confidently.
PRODUCTION TEAM
Do terms like gain, EQ, and PA system actually mean something to you? If so, the Production Team could be the perfect fit! The Production Team is responsible for the sound, lighting, and AV that help bring Magnitude to life. From setting up equipment and supporting venues to mixing live events and troubleshooting technical issues, this team works behind the scenes to ensure speakers are heard, worship runs smoothly, and every venue is ready for action.
KIDS TEAM
The main role of this team is to provide a fun and God-focussed place for the kids who attend Magnitude. Our kids group have their own mix of fun, worship, teaching and ministry covering everything any 0-10 year old could want.
MEDIA TEAM
Help capture and share the story of Magnitude Festival through photography and social media content. You'll photograph key moments, create engaging digital content, and help tell the stories of what God is doing throughout the event. This is a great opportunity for creative individuals with skills in photography, content creation, videography, or social media who want to use their gifts to serve and help inspire others.
