Connecting with God and connecting with each other fuels us with passion, purpose and promise. Even in the most crucial times of Jesus' ministry, we always see him retreating to spend time alone with the Father. From Jesus we learn the idea and practice of retreating in order to advance. At the start of a new youth work calendar, prioritising time away to focus on our own relationship and connection with God is vital. We seek connection before direction. We want the out-workings of our youth ministry to be shaped by the in-workings of His ministry.

Connected is a 3 day retreat where we focus on getting connected back to our first love and also spend time connected with others who are involved in youth ministry. We recognise that we can easily get isolated in our own youth work and ministry. We want to prioritise times where we can get away together and learn from each other and celebrate what God is doing across the land with youth work. We want Connected to be a time and space where youth work can feel more tied and interwoven together. We believe this happens best when relationships are deepened by spending quality time with God and quality time with each other in prayer and worship.
